This information is viewable by both Scouts and parents once an account has been started with Scoutbook. You should get an email invitation from us to create your account and link to your Scout's account. Here are instructions once you get the email:

Ranks FAQ
What are the different ranks of scouting and how do i advance in them?
The different Ranks fall into two main groups. First are the 'group' ranks: Scout, Tenderfoot, Second and First Class. Second are the 'individual' ranks: Star, Life and Eagle.
What is the difference between ranks and merit badges?
A Merit Badge is a specialized set of requirements earned as a group. Earning Merit Badges leads to fulfilling rank requirements. However, and especially for the 'group' ranks, there are less specific requirements that all scouts must meet in order to advance.
why are the cards i get at the court of honor important to keep?
The cards you get at the Court of Honor are your proof that you have earned the achievement should there ever be any question as you prepare to advance to a new rank especially Eagle scout.
can i earn merit badges only at summer camp?
No, Merit Badge councellors are always available. Just ask your patrol leader if you are interested in working on a particular Merit Badge.
How can i check to see where i am with my advancement?
You can check where you are in advancement through our online advancement system 'Scoutbook'.
Adult Training
All adults active in the troop must have Youth Protection Training. This is offered by the Theodore Roosevelt Council and online at my.scouting.org.
There are two “basic” training programs that are offered for parents in a Troop – Scout Leader and Troop Committee Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (or IOLS). Both are offered several times each year, and ALL parents are encouraged to consider one or both. See Theodore Roosevelt Council site for more info and dates of upcoming classes.
